Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

ER Group Management Services is looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist who is passionate about finance, financial reporting and accuracy. The role ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded, processed and summarised so that they support sound business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review subsidiary reporting packs for completeness and consistency.
• Assist in preparing Group financials for management reporting, monitoring and statutory filings, including monthly and quarterly figures, forecasts, budgets and strategic plans.
• Help prepare the Group's annual financial statements and disclosure notes.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Support monthly reporting, variance analysis and board reporting packs.
• Communicate monthly, forecast and strategic plan exchange rates to sectors, ensuring consistency across the Group.
• Assist in implementing new IFRS and changes in local law, working closely with auditors and sectors.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving consolidation and finance processes, timelines and reporting templates.
• Ensure adherence to the company's AML-CFT policy manual and approved procedures.
• Liaise with external auditors for the Group's year-end audit.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or equivalent, with ACCA/ACA partly qualified (Level 2 completed).
• At least 3 years in accounting or reporting, preferably in the financial sector; group consolidation experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, good communication skills and ability to work with different teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
• Group consolidation and accounting.
