Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will work closely with the Assistant Outlet Manager and Outlet Manager to maintain high service standards in a luxury resort setting on the south‑eastern coast of Mauritius.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Outlet Manager in ensuring quality service, safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the outlet area.
• Assist with guest handling, including VIP and special attention guests, and address feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participate in staff training, performance evaluation, discipline and grooming, and provide counseling as needed.
• Carry out administrative duties, attend briefings, meetings and training sessions, and manage daily inventories and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hotel industry experience, preferably in a luxury resort.
• At least one year in a similar supervisory position.
• Middle or secondary education with relevant additional training or certificates considered a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of hotel operations and service quality standards.
• Good knowledge of hygiene rules and quality of service.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal; additional language skills are a plus.
