Food Court Manager (Navy Program)

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Food Court Manager to lead food service operations for a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will ensure compliance with Navy standards, maintain a safe and sanitary environment, and deliver high‑quality meals to a diverse, multinational workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily food court operations, guaranteeing efficient service delivery.
• Supervise, schedule, and train food service staff to meet Navy food service standards.
• Maintain accurate financial reporting using Navy accounting systems.
• Ensure all food preparation follows Navy guidelines and customer requirements.
• Monitor sanitation and safety protocols, enforcing formal training standards.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and stock levels for food and supplies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop nutritious, cost‑effective menus.
• Collect and act on feedback to continuously improve service quality.
• Prepare operational reports, including sales data and performance metrics for leadership review.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing Navy food service operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Navy accounting systems and food service compliance.
• At least one (1) year of formal education in food service preparation.
• Formal training in sanitation practices and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and obtain necessary facility credentials.
