Full Stack Developer - Finance Transformation

About the role

EY Mauritius is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer for its Finance Transformation practice. The role covers designing, developing, deploying and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services, with guidance of teams, project planning and architectural decisions. Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Angular and React, Docker, cloud platforms and the use of AI tools in software development is required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications with Python backends and responsive front ends in Angular and/or React
• Build RESTful APIs, integrate third-party services and write clean, documented code
• Develop backend services with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django, and work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB
• Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring and error handling
• Containerise applications with Docker and Docker Compose, support CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot containers across environments
• Deploy applications on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and help plan cloud architecture, including scalability, availability and cost
• Use AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation and code review, while respecting AI governance and data privacy
• Guide development teams, break down requirements, estimate effort, mentor juniors and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Full Stack or Senior Software Developer
• Experience leading teams, planning tasks and managing technical deliverables
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation skills
