Fund Accountant

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its global fund administration team. You will support private equity and hedge fund clients by preparing key financial reports and ensuring accurate accounting throughout the investment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity and hedge funds on the required frequency.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as dictated by client needs.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely audit completion.
• Assist with Transfer Agency transactions when required.
• Maintain overall client relationships, respond to inquiries, and attend client meetings.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or holding an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue is an advantage.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented, accurate and eager to learn new tasks.
