Fund Accountant – Private Equity (Mauritius)

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Mauritius office. You will support private‑equity funds by preparing NAV packs, financial statements and liaising with auditors while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private‑equity funds on required frequencies.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Execute transfer‑agency transactions as needed.
• Manage client inquiries, relationships and attend meetings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of accounting experience (fund industry experience a plus).
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund‑accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue is advantageous.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and a collaborative team mindset.
