Fund Accounting Manager (Real Estate)

About the role

The Fund Accounting Manager (Real Estate) will lead the delivery of fund accounting services for a portfolio of private equity and real‑estate clients. You will oversee a team, ensure high‑quality, on‑time reporting, and act as the primary escalation point for client issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive, on‑time client service delivery for all fund accounting activities.
• Manage client entity directorships and day‑to‑day accounting in line with published processes, procedures and controls.
• Oversee internal and external subcontractors delivering accounting services.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for client issue resolution.
• Lead, mentor and monitor a team to ensure engagement, performance culture and work‑life balance.
• Prepare periodic fund accounting, NAV reporting, distribution planning and meet regulatory deadlines.
• Allocate work, review outputs for quality assurance and ensure timely financial deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting, preferably within private equity or real‑estate funds.
• Strong client‑service orientation with the ability to manage escalations.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership and people‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of processes, procedures, controls and regulatory requirements.
