Guest Service Bell Assistant

About the role

The Guest Service Bell Assistant plays a key part in delivering seamless experiences for guests at Constance Belle Mare Plage. Working closely with the senior porter and concierge teams, you will ensure arrivals, departures and all guest interactions are handled with professionalism and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty according to the rota, wearing the correct attire and name badge.
• Observe all company rules regarding attitude, health, safety and security.
• Assist the Senior Porter or Chef Concierge with guest arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Provide quick and courteous responses to guest inquiries, including restaurant reservations, tour arrangements, car hire and beach‑towel stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby, luggage room, departure lounge and other public areas.
• Deliver luggage, messages and parcels promptly.
• Drive and maintain the club car and limousine in accordance with hotel policy.
• Monitor and report any irregularities related to vehicles, equipment or facilities.
• Participate in recycling initiatives and adhere to fire, health and safety procedures.
• Assist VIP guests with excursions, restaurant bookings and presentation of hotel facilities.

• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of Mauritius attractions and a willingness to learn local history.
• Physical stamina to handle luggage and operate vehicles.
