About the role
The Housekeeping (Floor) Supervisor ensures the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms and public areas at Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxury resort in Mauritius. You will lead a team of room attendants, manage supplies, and maintain high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise room cleaning, hygiene standards and equipment maintenance.
- Rotate staff across tasks, monitor punctuality and productivity.
- Maintain stock of guest amenities, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
- Ensure safety, fire regulations and work‑hazard elimination.
- Act as Head Housekeeper in their absence and handle guest‑related issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of hotel industry experience, preferably in a luxury resort.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or similar housekeeping role.
- Good organisational, time‑management and team‑leadership abilities.
- Fluent in English (additional language a plus).
Required skills
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to use and maintain cleaning machinery.
