HR Partner – Employee Relations & Compliance

About the role

Amazon is seeking an HR Partner to serve as a trusted advisor for managers across the Middle East and Africa region. You will help shape a positive employee experience by providing expert guidance on performance, employee relations, policy interpretation, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers on performance‑management cases, analyze trends and advise on preventive actions.
• Lead workplace investigations, manage disciplinary and performance‑improvement programs, and coordinate with ER and Legal teams.
• Interpret and adapt global HR policies to local labor‑law requirements, ensuring policies remain fit for purpose.
• Maintain ongoing compliance with local regulations, prepare documentation, and manage labor inspections.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for HR tools and processes, delivering manager‑education initiatives.
• Analyze organizational data, highlight trends and recommend solutions.
• Support change‑management initiatives to improve employee experience.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local labor law and HR best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and analytical abilities.
• High proficiency in English and French.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
