Human Resources Assistant – Talent Team

About the role

Join EY's Talent Team in Mauritius as a Human Resources Assistant, supporting the full employee life‑cycle and delivering high‑quality HR services. You will work closely with hiring managers, employees, and stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations and contribute to EY's inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition for campus and experienced hires, managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes.
• Coordinate occupation and work permit processes for expatriate hires.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through exit, including probation follow‑up.
• Assist with learning and development initiatives and handle HRDC refund claims.
• Maintain the EY education loan scheme and update HR databases and employee files.
• Administer leave management, prepare HR reports, and ensure compliance with EY policies and local labour laws.
• Provide high‑quality service to employees in line with HR service level agreements.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant HR experience (advantageous).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
• High attention to detail, sense of duty, ownership, and responsibility.
