HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will ensure the comfort and safety of guests by maintaining, repairing, and installing the hotel’s heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems. Working on a luxury resort, you will perform preventive maintenance and respond quickly to any equipment failures.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems.
• Install new equipment, pipe and cable routing, control panels, electrical distribution panels, ducting and dampers.
• Maintain tools, keep the work area clean and follow safety procedures.
• Respond to fire alarm calls, assist with fire detection and suppression systems, and ensure compliance with emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with external contractors and in‑house teams, attend briefings and work on weekends or public holidays as scheduled.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge of all parts of HVAC equipment and related manuals.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to be available for urgent repairs and to assist in other operational tasks.
• Commitment to safety, use of protective equipment and adherence to fire safety procedures.
