In-Room Dining Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The In‑Room Dining Manager leads the room‑service operation at Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius’ south‑eastern coast. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service standards, and drive revenue for the In‑Room Dining department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the In‑Room Dining team and daily operations.
• Maintain and improve quality standards of service.
• Oversee special events and VIP guest arrangements.
• Maximise department revenue through effective upselling and cost control.
• Control stock levels: inventory, ordering, receiving and stocking.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area.
• Provide guidance, implement improvements and ensure consistency.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve comments promptly.
• Evaluate staff performance, enforce discipline and grooming standards.
• Coordinate administrative duties and staff training sessions.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the F&B Director.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional hospitality training is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury resorts.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation abilities.
• Good maths skills and managerial competence.
• Organised, with excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
