Intermediate Software Engineer – Cloud SaaS Platform

About the role

This position offers an intermediate software engineer the chance to join a leading wealth management firm and work on a brand‑new, first‑of‑its‑kind investment platform. The role is fully remote from Mauritius and focuses on building a greenfield SaaS solution for accounting firms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance a cloud‑native SaaS platform covering wealth management, lending, insurance, FX and estate planning.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to production deployment.
• Build scalable features, integrate with external APIs and services, and ensure high performance.
• Collaborate with a small, experienced engineering team to shape product direction and architecture.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments and cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js and React.
• Strong background in API design and integration in production settings.
• Solid SQL experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL or similar relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience building cloud applications on Azure, AWS or comparable platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation and modern engineering practices.
• Fintech, payments or wealth‑management experience is a plus.
