IT Officer – Technical Support & Cybersecurity

About the role

Teak World is seeking a motivated IT Officer to join its technology team. You will play a key part in keeping our systems secure, efficient, and aligned with our digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices.
• Assist with system upgrades, technology deployments, and IT project delivery.
• Implement and strengthen cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, documentation, and operational standards.
• Identify and propose automation or technology improvements to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, initiative, and effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Azure Administrator certifications (preferred).
• Exposure to AI‑powered tools, automation platforms, or intelligent monitoring systems is a plus.
