IT Sales Executive - Mauritius Office

About the role

R A Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd. (RACS) is looking for an IT Sales Executive based in its Mauritius office. The role is about proactively generating leads and driving sales growth, and suits someone with strong communication and negotiation skills and a solid understanding of RACS products, services and partner products.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through cold calling, meetings, networking and social media, and track and report on leads and business activities
• Present RACS products and services professionally and set up meetings with potential clients
• Prepare commercial quotes, sales orders and invoices with attention to detail
• Negotiate terms within management-defined margins, identify key decision-makers and convert prospects into sales
• Upsell and cross-sell services such as subscription-based Managed Services and AI-related services, and ensure stock availability and follow-ups with the presales team
• Maintain client relationships, act as a main point of contact and handle customer concerns
• Take part in sales meetings, report pipeline status and targets, and collect feedback on competitors, pricing and customer satisfaction
• Respond to calls for tenders and draft commercial proposals, involving other departments as needed
• Follow vendor certification programmes, stay updated on partner products and represent the company at exhibitions and trade shows

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience selling IT products, services and solutions in a B2B environment
• Good English and French
• Valid driving licence and/or own vehicle
• Strong network, ability to manage several projects at once and excellent organisational skills
