Sales Consultant - Payments

About the role

HPS Group, a global leader in payment and digital transaction management solutions, is looking for a Sales Consultant for ICPS. The role drives revenue by acquiring new customers within the assigned territory, developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships and representing the brand professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Build and qualify a pipeline of prospects, promote the HPS brand and engage potential clients to build trust.
• Deliver value propositions through presentations and proposals, lead negotiations to closure and collaborate with project, legal and other internal teams.
• Ensure a smooth handover to account management and project teams and achieve revenue targets from net new customers.
• Develop a territory-specific sales strategy, work with marketing on regional approaches and report sales data accurately and on time to the Sales Director.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of professional experience in the payments industry or related financial services.
• Proven experience in sales strategy, account management and meeting sales targets.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with banks, fintechs or merchants.
• Ability to work independently, manage several clients and perform in a competitive environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of the payment ecosystem, including card issuing, acquiring and digital payment solutions.
• Experience with card payment products such as PowerCard is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
