Medical Delegate - Medical Nutrition

About the role

Nestlé Mauritius is looking for a Medical Delegate (MD) to cover an assigned territory. The MD ethically details Nestlé Health Science products by communicating accurate information on their features, benefits and appropriate use to medical and paramedical contacts, and achieves company objectives in the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and interpret market intelligence on the medical nutrition market, industry trends, products, competitors, healthcare systems and customers.
• Segment prospects (healthcare professionals, institutions and pharmacies), define territories, plan visits and create routes.
• Promote Nestlé's purpose, values and principles and share information on medical nutrition practices with healthcare professionals.
• Manage requests from the healthcare system, such as continuing medical education, to build long-term relationships.
• Maintain records of field activity and data analysis.
• Ensure strict compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Dietetics, Biology or a related field.
• 3 years of prior experience as a Medical Representative or Dietitian.
• Expertise in medical nutrition product knowledge, including competitor products.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders; previous sales experience is desirable.

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex medical information clearly and persuasively.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
