Project Specialist – Financial Markets Operations

About the role

The Financial Markets Operations Business Unit is seeking a Project Specialist to support strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, and deliver cross‑border projects in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stakeholder relationships to meet internal and external customer expectations.
• Participate in the design and rollout of innovative systems and products.
• Conduct process reviews of Financial Markets Operations to improve efficiency, reduce turnaround time and operating costs, and strengthen controls.
• Manage RFCs and service requests for system developments and issue resolution.
• Update procedures and co‑author the Financial Markets Standards document.
• Lead new‑project implementation, including research, testing, UAT sign‑off, and procedure documentation for product launches and process changes.
• Support upgrades of the Treasury system T24, SWIFT Alliance, and related subsystems.
• Act as the point of contact for Operational Risk and Permanent Control to mitigate risks.
• Promote MCB’s brand and values in daily activities.
• Share knowledge with team members to ensure delivery aligns with standards.
