Purchasing Officer – Hospitality Procurement

About the role

The Purchasing Officer will manage the procurement of goods and services for Heritage Resorts, ensuring that all purchases meet quality, cost and delivery standards. Based in Bel Ombre, you will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Verify supplier information, review invoices and ensure accuracy of procurement transactions.
• Cross‑check Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes and invoices, resolve discrepancies with the Storekeeper.
• Collect and validate supplier invoices, confirming unit prices against the system price list.
• Obtain credit notes for undelivered or returned goods.
• Confirm that received goods meet quality specifications, check expiry dates and storage conditions.
• Enter consignment data into the system and keep records up‑to‑date.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with internal departments and external partners, providing efficient service.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent; a Diploma in Supply Chain is a plus.
• Previous experience in procurement or supply‑chain management is advantageous.
• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities for cost‑benefit analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer applications, especially hotel management systems.
