About the role

RIU Mauritius, which hosts the island's largest hotel cluster on the Le Morne peninsula, is hiring a Room Attendant for its housekeeping department. The role keeps guest rooms clean and comfortable so that every guest enjoys an exceptional stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to the highest standards, keeping them spotless and welcoming.
• Replace linens, towels and amenities as needed, with attention to detail.
• Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items promptly to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Organize and restock housekeeping carts with the supplies needed for the day.
• Help maintain public areas, hallways and service areas as required.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests, handling their needs discreetly.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential, as training is provided.
• A strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for long periods.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.
