Sales Representative / Advisor - Electronics & Appliances

About the role

The brand house in Mauritius is looking for a Sales Representative / Advisor to maintain and grow sales of mobile phones, tablets, phone accessories and home appliances (washing machines, refrigerators, microwaves and more) within a specific showroom. The post is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, direct and give excellent customer service to customers
• Give accurate information on product features, pricing and after-sales services
• Tell customers about special offers and close the sale
• Cross-sell products and meet or exceed sales targets
• Demonstrate how products work and keep merchandising and displays correct
• Help with stock control and follow up deliveries according to the schedule
• Keep up to date with new products and services, and may also sell other items such as IT products and tools

Required profile

• Experience in a similar position is a definite advantage
• Service-oriented attitude and good product knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in English and French, able to build trusting relationships
• Team player who can work odd hours, on shifts and under pressure

Required skills

• IT literate with good knowledge of MS Office
