Sales Support Trainee

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding Mauritius as a Sales Support Trainee and help the commercial centre team handle rate requests across the DGF network. You will work closely with sales and performance teams to qualify prospects, manage lead data, and support the sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries and generate prospect lists across all segments.
• Qualify prospects by business type, contact data, size, and revenue potential.
• Capture call information and enter qualification results in MYDHLi and Sales360.
• Clean and update lead lists, compile daily qualified lead lists, and delegate leads to sales staff.
• Conduct campaign calls to unassigned prospects and coordinate market communication plans.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators, manage sales tracking tools, and report KPI’s.
• Perform data entry for sales figures, maintain organized filing systems, and assist in business review preparation.
• Support estimate, costing, and rate proposal preparation, as well as proposal writing.
• Prepare sales reports such as revenue development, churn rates, hit rates, and pipeline size.
• Provide administrative support, schedule meetings, and assist with customer onboarding and contract documentation.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of forwarding business.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
• Capability to calculate rates using basic arithmetic.
