Senior Accountant – Asset Manager Services

About the role

This senior accountant position offers the chance to own a diverse portfolio of asset‑manager clients, delivering high‑quality accounting, financial reporting and client service. You will work closely with colleagues and management to ensure accurate financial information and support junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a client portfolio, building strong relationships and delivering accounting and reporting services.
• Prepare and review accounting records, complex reconciliations, management accounts and financial statements in line with relevant standards.
• Partner with clients and auditors to ensure smooth financial reporting and timely audit completion.
• Respond to client queries, resolve issues and help clients meet reporting obligations.
• Review work of colleagues, guide junior staff and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACCA or ACA, or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 4‑6 years of experience preparing financial statements and management accounts, preferably in capital markets, real estate, private equity or alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; exposure to UK GAAP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
• Experience with accounting systems such as eFront, Navision, ViewPoint or Value Financials.
