Senior Associate, CFT Audit

About the role

The Senior Associate, CFT Audit will support the MLRO, DMLRO and Compliance Officer on regulated client entities within Apex's Mauritius campus. This role focuses on transaction monitoring, KYC reviews and risk assessments to ensure robust anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑fund‑terrorism controls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MLRO/DMLRO/CO on regulated client entities of Apex companies (Mauritius campus) in transaction monitoring and second‑line controls.
• Conduct sample‑based KYC reviews according to the established plan.
• Prepare annual business risk assessments for client entities.
• Support regulatory inspections and respond to queries.
• Compile statistics and KPI reports on a regular basis for internal reporting.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in finance, law or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑fund‑terrorism (AML/CFT) regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of initiative and a “can‑do” attitude.
