Senior Finance Executive – 9‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

The company is a global investor services provider seeking a Senior Finance Executive on a nine‑month fixed‑term contract to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will handle core accounting activities and support month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, account reconciliations, bank statements, transfers and supplier payments.
• Support monthly and annual close, prepare financial statements and assist with external audits.
• Prepare and submit local VAT, tax and regulatory filings to ensure compliance.
• Handle billing activities, including invoice preparation and credit control.
• Produce financial and management reports for local management and the Group.

Required profile

• ACCA Level 2 qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum five years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Good understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting.
• Strong computer skills and comfort working with accounting and financial systems.

Required skills

• SUN Systems (advantageous but not mandatory).
• IFRS knowledge.
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
