Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for the end‑to‑end accounting of hedge fund clients, ensuring accurate NAV calculation, reconciliations and timely reporting. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain high‑quality fund administration services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly NAVs for hedge fund clients.
• Perform cash, position and market‑value reconciliations, investigate and resolve breaks.
• Review portfolio pricing, corporate actions and ensure correct booking in the accounting system.
• Accrue and amortise management fees, financing costs and other non‑security fees.
• Process non‑automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
• Support fund migrations, meet SLA targets and provide regular client communication on estimates and queries.
• Finalize month‑end NAV, produce investor allocation reports and assist with audit preparation.
• Identify process improvements and support automation or conversion projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of fund accounting experience within an investment‑management or finance environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA).
• Strong understanding of hedge‑fund operations, NAV calculation and corporate actions.
