Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its fund administration team in Mauritius. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality accounting and reporting services for private equity funds, ensuring compliance with client requirements and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for private equity funds on required frequencies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for clients.
• Prepare annual and quarterly tax returns, TDS filings, and other filings with the Mauritius Revenue Authority.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Support transfer agency transactions as needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handling inquiries and meetings.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran or Efront is an advantage.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, accurate, eager to learn, and a collaborative team player.
