Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for preparing NAVs, reconciliations and supporting audit processes for hedge fund clients. This role requires close interaction with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of issues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly NAVs for hedge fund clients.
• Perform cash, position and market value reconciliations, resolve breaks and notify clients or CSMs.
• Review portfolio pricing, corporate actions, and ensure correct booking in the system.
• Reconcile dividends/interest with broker reports and accrue management and financing fees.
• Process non‑automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
• Communicate NAV estimates, queries and ad‑hoc requests to clients.
• Support audit preparation, financial statement reviews and coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of accounting experience, preferably in fund accounting.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong time‑management and organisational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive learner willing to take on new tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software (preferred).
