Service Delivery Associate – Payroll

About the role

Rivermate is looking for a Service Delivery Associate to join its payroll team. You will ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing for employees hired under the Employer of Record model across multiple countries, helping consultants get paid on time, every time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll cycles for multi‑country employees.
• Collect, validate, and submit monthly payroll inputs for each jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with external payroll vendors and internal Finance, HR, and Legal teams.
• Generate payslips, payroll reports, and invoices with precision.
• Identify and resolve payroll issues, escalating blockers as needed.
• Continuously improve payroll delivery processes and SOPs.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of payroll operations experience, preferably in a multi‑country, outsourced or EOR environment.
• Strong knowledge of monthly payroll cycles, reconciliations, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with tax and labour compliance in European countries (e.g., Spain, France, UK, Netherlands) is a plus.
• Ownership mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a drive for process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, HR or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); French proficiency is an advantage.
