Service Delivery Specialist – Payroll Operations

About the role

Rivermate is looking for a Service Delivery Specialist to join its global payroll team. You will ensure that international consultants receive accurate, on‑time payments while complying with local employment regulations. This remote position supports employees across more than 180 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recurring payroll cycles for international employees, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
• Collect, validate, and submit monthly variable inputs such as bonuses, expenses, and overtime across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external payroll vendors, internal Finance, HR, and Legal teams to meet statutory deadlines.
• Deliver secure payslips to employees and prepare precise financial reporting and client invoicing.
• Monitor operational workflows, flag discrepancies, and propose continuous improvements.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a multi‑country or outsourced environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll cycles, global reconciliations, and third‑party vendor coordination.
• Exposure to tax, payroll, and labour compliance in key European jurisdictions (e.g., Spain, France, UK, Netherlands).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, HR or related field; payroll or HR certifications are a plus.
