Software Developer II

About the role

Dayforce is looking for a Software Developer II to help build search, AI Assistant, and AI agent capabilities for its global HCM platform. The position is based in Mauritius and operates remotely on a night‑shift schedule (1 pm – 10 pm). You will work on a high‑visibility product used by millions of customers across more than 150 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable search services and federated data solutions.
• Develop, consume, and maintain APIs that power search and AI features.
• Build and enhance user‑interface components for the search experience.
• Automate release pipelines and support CI/CD processes for all integrations.
• Maintain and improve existing integrations, fixing bugs and delivering enhancements.
• Participate in product discussions to influence roadmap and technical direction.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with experience in building large‑scale software systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Interest in staying current with big‑data and AI technologies.
• Willingness to work night‑shift hours in a remote environment.
