Solutions Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Solutions, the team is adding a Solutions Specialist to support the Dayforce Industry Solutions (DIS) application. This position provides business‑to‑business application support to Dayforce clients worldwide, focusing on the company’s most strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and enhance the client support experience.
• Troubleshoot, reproduce, research, design, test and implement resolutions using C#/.NET and SQL.
• Develop creative solutions, triage Dayforce and DIS issues, and provide efficient incident resolution.
• Grow product and industry expertise, becoming a trusted advisor and subject‑matter expert.
• Monitor client configurations to identify proactive support opportunities.
• Assist with operational projects, defect documentation, process optimization and best‑practice application.
• Support customer transition from implementation to ongoing support, collaborating with Services and Success teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of customer service and technology support experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in Human Capital Management.
• 2+ years of programming experience in C#, Java or equivalent OOP language.
• 2+ years of experience with data integrations.
• Exposure to change‑management protocols and familiarity with Microsoft Server technologies (Windows, SQL Server, Azure DevOps).
• Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Exceptional customer‑experience skills and willingness to work outside standard business hours.
