Spare Parts Executive

About the role

The Spare Parts Executive ensures the timely availability of the right spare parts for after-sales repairs. The role covers planning, supplier management, cost-efficient sourcing, order follow-up, reverse logistics and returns handling.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast spare parts needs from consumption trends and service load, track expected arrivals and shortages, and recommend part alternatives
• Build and manage a local and international supplier network, source parts through B2B platforms, distributors and OEM affiliates, negotiate prices and lead times, and set supplier SLAs
• Prepare purchase requests, track orders until delivery, monitor backorders and coordinate shipment documentation
• Coordinate part shipments with finished goods, propose economical purchase quantities and consolidation, and balance logistics cost against urgency
• Monitor stock ageing, flag potentially obsolete items and recommend mitigation such as small-batch purchases, returns, liquidation or swaps
• Help the store team with parts mapping and item codes, and manage defective part returns and warranty settlements
• Liaise with technicians, store and service advisors, and provide weekly status reports on orders, ETAs and supplier performance

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in supply chain, procurement, business or a technical field
• 1-3 years in procurement, after-sales or parts/logistics coordination
• Experience in consumer electronics or appliances preferred
