Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Livestock Feed Limited is seeking a full‑time Storekeeper to join its Port Louis warehouse team. You will be responsible for receiving, organising, and maintaining raw material inventories while supporting production schedules and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, verify quantities against purchase orders and packing lists, and record receipts in the AX system with accurate expiry dates and lot numbers.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, unloading activities, and communication with transporters and forklift drivers.
• Store raw materials according to established procedures, maintain the vitamin room, and organise restricted additives safely.
• Conduct weekly sampling of stored materials for quality verification and submit samples to the laboratory.
• Plan and execute transfers of raw materials between locations, ensuring physical quantities match system entries.
• Prepare daily material picks, coordinate with production, and deliver items within designated timeframes.

Required profile

• Minimum HSC (high school) qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment.
• Strong integrity, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and a customer‑service attitude for internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and following established procedures accurately.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using AX (ERP system) for inventory management.
