Team Leader – Finance

About the role

The Finance Team Leader will join Ocorian’s Global Accounting team based in Mauritius. Reporting to the Mauritius Finance Director, the role oversees day‑to‑day accounting activities for a designated region and supports the broader Global Accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain vendor cards, performing periodic vendor reviews.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded promptly and financial obligations are met.
• Drive the month‑end close process, providing analysis to support results.
• Prepare and review management accounts with accurate commentary.
• Complete and review balance‑sheet reconciliations for all entities.
• Prepare country packs and monthly business reviews for submission to Country Heads.
• Provide technical accounting advice, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
• Support operational activities as an accounting subject‑matter expert.
• Identify, propose, and implement process improvements and automation.
• Assist with ad‑hoc tasks, projects, and financial control, tax, and treasury activities.
