Trust Accountant

About the role

Citco, a corporate services provider with a global network, offers corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities. Working with its Accounting team, you will support private equity, multinationals, corporates and private clients in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. The Trust Accountant maintains the books and records of a client portfolio and prepares financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the books and records of a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare financial statements of companies, trusts and funds independently.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS or other GAAPs.
• Ensure timely and accurate management reports are provided on request.
• Assume joint responsibility of the team.
• Act as liaison between the rep-office and operational offices, maintaining good working relationships internally and with operational offices.
• Report to the Account Manager on clients' issues.

Required profile

• Fully qualified or nearly qualified accountant, or a university degree, preferably in accounting or finance.
• At least three years of working experience in accounting and administration, preferably in a global business environment.
• Dynamic, organised and motivated, able to set priorities and work to tight deadlines.
• Able to work in a team, under pressure and take initiative.
