Wellness Senior and Diversity Associate

About the role

The Wellness Senior and Diversity Associate leads psychosocial support for students and drives the university’s diversity, inclusion, consent and accessibility agenda. Reporting to the Student Life Manager, the role balances direct counselling with policy design and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide confidential individual and group psychological counselling, psychometric assessments and restorative justice services.
• Design, implement and evaluate wellness programmes, diversity and inclusion campaigns, and the online Consent Course for all students.
• Develop, own and integrate policies on inclusion, equality, sexual misconduct and disability across the institution.
• Manage hiring, training and supervision of peer counsellors and student interns.
• Collect, analyse and report data to support evidence‑based service delivery and institutional reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related field with professional counselling accreditation.
• 2‑4 years of experience delivering psychological support in higher‑education or clinical settings.
• Proven experience designing diversity, inclusion or gender‑equality programmes.
• Experience managing interns or small teams and working on institutional policy development.
