Associate Infrastructure Owner

About the role

The Associate Infrastructure Owner will plan, provision and maintain the end‑to‑end technology infrastructure for Absa Bank (Mauritius) Limited. The role ensures operational efficiency and supports user productivity by managing hardware, software and system services across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the bank’s technology infrastructure, including servers, file, print and application services.
• Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and business applications such as Microsoft Office and banking software.
• Support desktop hardware and peripherals, including phones, printers, scanners and secure banking devices (Card and PIN systems).
• Monitor server performance, identify issues proactively and perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure endpoint security by applying antivirus updates and patches and follow information‑security and change‑management procedures.
• Track incidents and service requests, analyse trends and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide diagnostic analysis and technical support for hardware and software problems at all user levels.
• Participate in testing and delivery of locally driven projects, ensuring adherence to project delivery stages.

Required profile

• Experience in planning, provisioning and maintaining technology infrastructure services.
• Ability to monitor performance and implement corrective or preventive actions.
• Knowledge of security guidelines, antivirus management and change‑management protocols.
• Strong analytical skills for incident trend analysis and problem resolution.
