Associate Manager

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a sub‑team within Apex Group’s Global Business Sector, ensuring operational excellence and high‑quality client deliverables. You will act as a key liaison between the team, the Unit Head, and clients, driving efficiency and risk‑aware processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all operational aspects of sub‑team deliverables, including resource allocation and regular updates to the Unit Head.
• Guarantee that final client deliverables are 100% accurate and meet quality standards.
• Develop deep understanding of individual client requirements and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee, review, and monitor daily work of team members to ensure timely completion.
• Apply a risk‑minimisation mindset to day‑to‑day activities within the Global Business Sector.
• Attend director/shareholder meetings, review Board papers, and produce high‑quality deliverables.
• Review minutes drafted by team members and sign off on bank account openings and related transactions.
• Coordinate statutory filings with regulatory bodies such as FSC and ROC.
• Lead customer due‑diligence (CDD) activities in line with AML requirements.
• Support fund administration tasks for private equity funds and handle ad‑hoc corporate secretarial duties.
• Mentor and coach team members, identifying training needs for the Unit Head.
• Promote continuous process improvement and drive efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or a related field.
• Degree or substantial progress toward a professional ICSA qualification or equivalent.
• Strong client‑service mindset with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Goal‑oriented, organized team player with strong interpersonal skills.
