Bar Supervisor – Boutique Beachfront Hotel

About the role

Constance Sakoa Boutik, an intimate beachfront boutique hotel in Mauritius, is seeking a Bar Supervisor to lead its bar operations. You will ensure guests receive warm, professional service and enjoy exceptional beverage experiences in a serene ocean‑front setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to resort standards.
• Manage bar mise‑en‑place, stock rotation, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Supervise, motivate, and train bar staff to maintain high service quality.
• Monitor inventory, control costs, and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and non‑alcoholic options, contributing creative ideas for new drinks and promotions.
• Enforce hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in line with resort policies.
• Assist with staff scheduling, daily reporting, and coordination of bar requisitions.

Required profile

• School Certificate (SC) or equivalent.
• A Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management or Bar Operations.
• 1–3 years of bar or restaurant service experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel or resort.
• Fluent in English and French; additional language such as Creole is an advantage.
