About the role
The Butler Manager leads the Butler team to deliver exceptional, personalized service to guests in a luxury hospitality setting. This role ensures all guest requests are fulfilled promptly and maintains high standards for VIP suite arrivals.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of exceptional butler services and timely fulfillment of guest orders, requests, and enquiries.
- Conduct embarkation inspections of VIP suites and oversee in‑suite arrival procedures to brand standards.
- Lead, coach, train and develop the Butler Team, mentoring the Senior Butler for future managerial duties.
- Meet or exceed brand‑defined performance targets and KPIs for the Butler Team.
Required profile
- Minimum of two years of Butler or guest‑facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort or cruise line.
- Excellent fluent English (verbal and written) with strong communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities to motivate a culturally diverse workforce.
Required skills
- Professional Butler or luxury service certification (e.g., International Butler Academy) is an advantage.
- Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
