Client Accountant – Business Services

About the role

The Client Accountant will support a Senior Client Accountant in delivering accounting and reporting services for a portfolio of Irish‑incorporated special purpose vehicles. Working closely with the client services team, you will ensure accurate financial statements and timely management accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and annual reports in line with IFRS, the Companies Act and other applicable GAAP.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual and annual management accounts and coordinate delivery with the Ireland client services team.
• Provide day‑to‑day financial reporting for assigned clients, maintaining compliance with internal policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities on accounting matters.
• Communicate audit and accounting updates to clients and keep records systematically organised.
• Manage a portfolio of entities, taking ownership of their accounting cycles.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and explore opportunities for additional responsibilities.
• Report progress to senior team members within agreed timeframes.
