About the role
A Mauritius-based executive search, recruitment, training and HR consultancy is recruiting a Company Secretarial Officer through its client. The role reports to the Corporate Governance Lead.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act and financial laws.
- Ensure timely statutory filings with the Registrar of Companies and other regulatory bodies.
- Keep proper statutory records and CDD documents on officers, shareholders and beneficial owners.
- Draft resolutions and reports for the Board and assist in maintaining proper corporate governance.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and perform other relevant administrative duties aligned to business needs.
Required profile
- Degree in Management, Law or a related field, or studying towards a professional qualification.
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
