Corporate Accountant 2 – Financial Reporting

About the role

The Accountant 2 in Corporate Accounting will independently handle low to moderate complexity accounting tasks while supporting the wider accounting team. This position focuses on delivering accurate and timely financial information and building expertise in client requirements and industry practices.

Key responsibilities

• Execute core accounting functions such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entry posting, and preparation of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage assigned mailboxes, gather and maintain source documents, prepare working schedules and papers, and perform self‑reviews to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and compile data for tax and VAT filings, assist with audit queries, and support regulatory reporting activities.
• Address moderate‑complexity accounting queries independently and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
• Complete required checklists and sign‑offs according to established procedures.
• Seek feedback, pursue training opportunities, and support basic client communication.
