Corporate Credit Manager

About the role

The Corporate Credit Manager joins the Corporate & International Banking team to manage a portfolio of corporate customers across on‑shore and cross‑border transactions. The role balances business growth with rigorous credit risk controls, ensuring end‑to‑end credit processes are executed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Execute annual and interim credit reviews for standard‑to‑moderate complexity transactions under team leader guidance.
• Prepare credit committee documentation, pricing calculations, and support new business approvals.
• Analyse audited and management financial statements, load data into the bank’s credit application system, and flag early warning signs.
• Coordinate post‑approval documentation, conditions precedent closure, and security perfection with Operations, Legal and Risk teams.
• Manage disbursement processing for facilities such as trade loans, leasing, and short‑term loans, ensuring completeness and control checks.
• Monitor daily excesses, cheque payments, covenant testing, and escalation of breaches to the risk sanctioning office.
• Support audit requests and implement remediation actions as required.

Required profile

• Experience in corporate credit analysis and risk management within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and credit documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business, credit, operations and legal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict service level agreements.
