Corporate Credit Manager

About the role

The Corporate Credit Manager is a key member of the Corporate Credit Team within the Corporate & International Banking division. The role oversees on‑shore and cross‑border credit activities for a defined portfolio, ensuring robust risk controls while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute annual and interim credit reviews for standard‑to‑moderate complexity transactions under Team Leader guidance.
• Extract, analyse and load audited and management accounts into the bank’s credit application system within agreed SLAs.
• Identify and flag early warning signs from financial statements, advising business and credit teams on potential credit quality issues.
• Coordinate post‑approval documentation, conditions precedent closure, and security perfection with Operations, Legal and RCU teams.
• Process end‑to‑end disbursements for facilities such as new loans, STL, trade loans and leasing, ensuring completeness and control checks.
• Monitor daily excesses and cheque payments, escalating exceptions promptly.
• Manage covenant testing, tracking, breach notifications and escalation to the Risk sanctioning office.
• Act as point of contact for internal and external audits, implementing remediation actions as required.
• Produce accurate Management Information for risk governance and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in wholesale credit risk management within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of credit processes, covenant monitoring and financial statement analysis.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining error‑free documentation and reporting.
