Databricks Data Analyst

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Databricks Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to turn business requirements into reliable data sets, dashboards, and analytical insights. You will collaborate with stakeholders, digital teams, data engineers, and product owners to deliver end‑to‑end BI solutions in a Microsoft Azure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to clarify reporting, analytics, and data requirements.
• Explore data to identify insights, quality gaps, and transformation needs.
• Use Databricks to access, analyze, and prepare datasets for reporting.
• Build, maintain, and optimise Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models and visualisations.
• Develop Power Query transformations and support data‑preparation activities.
• Define data objects, attributes, quality rules and functional mappings.
• Contribute to backlog definition, prioritisation and delivery tracking in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, product owners and technical teams to deliver complete BI solutions.
• Participate in testing, validation, user acceptance, documentation and move‑to‑run activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4‑5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Analytics Consultant or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Power BI and Power Query.
• Good understanding of modern cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Power Platform – especially Power Apps.
• SQL.
• Python or PySpark (optional but beneficial).
