Deputy Money Market Dealer – Treasury

About the role

The Deputy Money Market Dealer supports the Treasury function in daily cash, liquidity and treasury operations. Working closely with the Money Market Dealer and Treasurer, the role assists in executing, administering and monitoring treasury transactions while preparing management reports and ensuring compliance with risk limits.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions, manage cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Assist in executing money market, foreign exchange, fixed income and funding transactions within approved mandates.
• Prepare dealing tickets, confirmations and maintain accurate audit trails in treasury systems.
• Monitor treasury reports, identify exceptions and support risk‑limit compliance.
• Track market developments in interest rates, FX and fixed income, and communicate relevant insights.
• Liaise with Finance, IBD, Risk, Operations and external banks to resolve settlement and reconciliation issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in banking, treasury, finance or financial markets.
• Strong analytical, numerical and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of money market instruments, foreign exchange products, interest‑rate derivatives, repurchase agreements and fixed‑income securities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
