Entry-Level Corporate Accountant (Accountant 1)

About the role

This is an entry‑level position within a global Investor Services group, focused on corporate accounting. You will develop core accounting competencies while supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations and supporting working papers.
• Execute day‑to‑day accounting operations, including transaction processing, bookkeeping and mailbox management.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities and contribute to periodic and annual financial reports.
• Support tax and VAT filings, respond to audit queries and aid regulatory reporting, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Maintain high‑quality standards by reviewing work, following established procedures and resolving routine accounting queries.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under guidance while progressively taking on more complex tasks.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
